For this series of photographic images, I explored the themes of our 5 senses. Can we use our imaginations to visualise how something smells, look, feels, sounds and taste like by looking at the image. Exploring the relationships between the sense of sight and the sense of touch and how impactful they are when we trying to remember a fragment of time; memory.

final moving image
This is my final edit as the second part of the Modalities of portraiture and the construction of identity. I went with a documentary style, following the life of a nursing student, creating a series of constantly doing the same actions every day which became a routine. I wasn’t sure of the outcome since I wasn’t sure how long I wanted to drag out the video but after editing, I am satisfied with the outcome.
